The Auxi Project:
Our Story
Founded in August 2020 by two high school students in Calgary, Alberta, The Auxi Project is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free academic and career resources for Albertan youth.

We know that many youth have the ability and drive to effect positive change. As such, it's imperative that future changemakers receive as much support as possible in order to succeed to the best of their ability. That's why we envisioned a platform of free, interactive tools for learning and personal development that can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. Through our initiatives, we hope to level the playing ground and empower all youth, regardless of their background, to soar to their full potential.

In August 2021, we rebranded from Pilot Prep Learning to The Auxi Project - derived from the Latin auxilium, "to help".

What We Do
The Auxi Project is grounded in the core pillars of leadership, peer mentorship, and meaningful community impact. We embrace our digital platform to deliver youth empowerment opportunities and academic and career support.

Academic Support
The Auxi Project hosts a free database of academic resources for high school students, with resources ranging in formats from condensed study guides and worksheets to YouTube lessons and interactive flashcards. Subjects include Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, Mathematics, and General Sciences.

In the 2020-2021 school year, we launched a live tutoring initiative, providing a free opportunity for students across Alberta to drop into our math and science lessons, collaborate with their peers, and access academic support from our experienced youth mentors.

Postsecondary Education & Career Webinars
We host insightful webinars and events with guest speakers who are spearheading innovation in their fields. We invite students to ask questions and participate in meaningful discussions with our speakers, exploring the ins-and-outs of different paths of study and work.
